Find out about the changes implemented as on July 28th 2025!

COMMUNICATION FROM THE MONACO BUS COMPANY

The X1 and X2 lines have been extended: the X1 line to the ‘Rocher’ stop and the X2 line to the ‘Portier’ stop. These extensions will make it easier to get from the Salines car park to two major hubs in the Principality. The frequency has also been significantly improved.

Line X4 will be discontinued due to low ridership. Its users are invited to take line X3, which covers most of the route, with the exception of the ‘Saint-Roman’ stop. Various lifts at the RESEDAS and ELSA towers provide easy access to the car park overlooking Avenue Princesse Grace and the LARVOTTO terminus.

The express lines will therefore serve the following stops:

- X1: ‘Jardin Exotique’, “Belgique”, ‘Place d'Armes’ and now ‘Rocher’.

In the outward direction, the stop served will be PLACE D'ARMES towards ROCHER and not the one on Boulevard Charles III served before 28 July. This stop is currently served by lines 1 and 2 towards MONACO-VILLE.
On the return journey, towards JARDIN EXOTIQUE / Parking des Salines, the stop served will be PLACE D'ARMES towards Nice/Cap d'Ail.

- X2: ‘Jardin Exotique’, ‘Pont Sainte-Dévote’, ‘Monte-Carlo Tourisme’ and now ‘Portier’.

Please note that the MONTE-CARLO TOURISME stop will be served by line X2 in both directions: PORTIER or JARDIN EXOTIQUE.

- X3: ‘Albert II’, ‘Port de Fontvieille’ or ‘Fontvieille – Centre Commercial’ (depending on the direction), ‘Place d'Armes’ (depending on the direction), ‘Princesse Antoinette’ or ‘Place Sainte-Dévote’ (depending on the direction), “Portier” and ‘Larvotto’. No changes.
